Aquariun Center closing-

Post by RTRJR »

In theory today was the last day. The word is that an outside investor, the employees, or some combo will try to renegociate debt and re-open.

Yup, I was there today. Gloria told me that it will be called Aquarium Depot starting next week.

That's too bad, but it really had gone downhill in the last couple of years.

So, it's not really closing, it's just undergoing a name change? Do you know what, if anything else will be changing?

That's true. Gloria said that the owner hadn't been paying the bills unbeknownst to the employees he was slowly going bankrupt. Apparently the creditors have been showing up now and then to collect.

The store was really empty. They are waiting to order anything in until the name change next week so as not to incur any more debt under the Aquarium Center name.
