same 8 million part sanding procedure applies to glass. I would just get new glass since the result is usually not worth the effort.

I can certainly relate to the glass shattering part. Have you considered the under gravel heater typically used for reptiles? That might work better/cleaner in a nano tank.

Julie, I've had similar heaters in the past where the heater displayed both set and tank temps. I still ended up checking water temp with a probe due to some of the heaters providing incorrect temps. Nowadays, I would much rather save the money and just buy two glass heaters - one set higher and one...

On the contrary to Julie, I've killed a bunch of plants until I put fish in my tanks. Now my plants are happy and grow. # of fish made difference in my tanks. more plants = more fish. less plants = need more plants. lol.

"wireless" fill/empty can be achieved using dehumidifier to capture H2O from air to fill and using a heater to "steam" the water to empty. The solids in the water can be dissolved naturally using plants, etc, and an automatic dosing device can control water parameters. If anyone ...
