You moved it forward and weekend AND made it on May 22, which I think is Sunday, rather than just moving it forward exactly a week - keeping it on a Saturday - correct?

GWAPA - 2016 Schedule

Question On Dates: I know that I have not been able to attend very many meetings for a little while though I do try to mark them on my calendar every year and make those I can... which will be more this year (certainly hope so...). I did have a question about the dates as I know the meeting are gene...

Re: Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila) - Keeper's Notes

Viktor,

Very cool and good to know. I would be interested in the article if you can find it. Hmm, I believe that I have mostly males (only 2 females) though sexing is a challenge :-). I guess I might just have the quiet ones :).

Re: Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila) - Keeper's Notes

Mark, It, meaning the croaking noise, is a curious subject to me. It seems several places and people use the terms 'croaking gourami' synonymously with 'sparkling gourami' and report hearing them croak. In my experience, I have never heard any of them making any noise that I could discern as being f...

Re: OMG! Daisy's Ricefish Babies Are Super-Tiny!

Oh, shoot! I thought I pressed send though maybe note... thanks for the advice on how to catch them using turkey basters - great idea. Unfortunately, I did not notice them until only a few were left and within no time - poof! I have a strong feeling my sparkling gourami found them to hard to resist.

Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila) - Keeper's Notes

Sparkling Gourami are a beautiful, little iridescent species. In doing the initial research on this species to determine suitability for my well-planted community tank (65-Gallon), I discovered some inaccurate and inconsistent information including the caution against keeping unless live food is an ...

August 2012 - Tank Tour (Meeting?)

Greetings Folks, Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the last month's meeting in which I might have been informed as to whether their was a meeting at a specific location coupled with the tank-tour or simply tank-tour without a centralized meeting. If I missed the post which provides this informat...

Re: OMG! Daisy's Ricefish Babies Are Super-Tiny!

Honestly, no. I should add that I have 3-5 adults and let the scape go jungle (aka in need of a good trim). Water is very soft 0-1 that I bump with baking soda to 2-4. I wish you the best ... just hope you have small tank - lol.

OMG! Daisy's Ricefish Babies Are Super-Tiny!

OMG! I have to say tiny borders on microscopic to the point where they might feed a large Daphnia (lol) and a standard tropical fish net will have holes too big. I have a 65-Gallon (36x18x24) that is moderately to heavily planted. So, catching them is out of the question between the depth, plants, a...
