Re: Help choosing a light for a 75g
That's great, Loni! Let us know how you like them Thanks Krisw, I might just hit you up for settings help! I bought the xr15's for my reef, once I put them on, I instantly knew I was hooked. Stay the hell away from the Finnex... I hear ya! I have owned a 5 or so finnex and only have 2 bar left. The...

Re: Light for a 3g betta tank
For a nano tank with low light plants you can use a desk lamp. This is probably what I'm going with, I still have one "day light" bulb in my "fish stash", the light is not so bright for a betta, and will grow the few low light plants I'll keep....I'm sure I can find a small clip...

Re: Light for a 3g betta tank
Finnex makes a decent clip on that's RGB and meant for plants. They also make one that's just meant for lighting/color (I think fugeray and stingray). The Aquatop I had failed after about a year, even though I rarely used it. I was not impressed. I saw the Finnex planted+ and the stingray, I though...

Light for a 3g betta tank
I ended up giving all three of my 4g betta cube set ups to my grand kids...none of my own kids got the "fish bug", but I'm def seeing signs of my grand kids getting interested (they are 3, 5 and 7 yo). I miss my little betta tanks, so today I ordered a Mr Aqua 3g from BRS , I have a AC20 f...

Re: Help choosing a light for a 75g
I'd need two radions, plus the hanging kits, plus the reeflink...totals 6x the cost of a Finnex 24/7....... I've never owned anything Radion, always went with chinese knock offs which have served my tanks well. On the other hand, the Radion's are realllyyyyyy nice, the reeflink does really cool stuf...

Help choosing a light for a 75g
Been away from planted tanks for a few years now, itching to get back in. I have a 75g Tangy tank I'm going to move fish around, and reboot it as a high tech planted tank. I can reuse the two Eheim 2215's (classic filter), the heaters, and I have some old black 3M color quartz and Fluorite I've kept...
