What I got at homedepot once was a sink strainer.

let me edit that, use teflon only if you know how an if you are not going to do a sloppy job.

make sure you didn't open the tank too much, just open it a little to so you don't have too much gas coming out to the regulator, that might be too much and it might not be able to handle it.
