Wont be able to come this time. Family reunion with scott's side of the family. Kinda thinking since we're newly married, I should attend this one  (especially since I've only gone to 1 or 2 in the last 6 yrs!)

Nano plants

After much research, I've picked a handful of plants that I would like to try to get a hold of for the nano competition. If anyone has any of these and would be willing to sell to me, I'll gladly buy from you at the meeting. Thank you so much. Also, if anyone has any suggestions/additional informati...

We also have 4 (soon to be 6) kubotais in the 75gal. They are an absolute riot and that's a heavely planted tank. They don't disturb the plants eith...

Scott was telling me about this. ARRGG. I know what the problem is now. The bill was introduced by a Rep from GUAM!!! I LIVED there! My guess is that this all stems from the problem that guam has of nonnative snakes that had been introduced during WWII. The snakes decimated the native bird populatio...

Just an input for a stir rod. If you look in agriculture websites that cater to cattle, they sell magnet rods dirt cheap. Why you ask? Because cows are notorious for eating anything and will pick up pieces of metal and nails. There actually is a vet term for eating metal-hardware disease! Anyhow, ra...

Tropical Fish World

Just wanted to pass along a complement. There's a saying in costumer service that if you give good service, no one hears about it, but if you give bad service, 10 people hear about it. Well, I just wanted to pass along a GOOD experience! Scott, his brother (Tom), and I went to TFW on Friday looking ...

Though we missed most of the meeting, what we saw of it was great. Dave; loved seeing your tanks. Scott is inthralled by your 180. I quote him when I say "it was almost too beautiful to look at" He's been telling anyone with any fish knowledge about it. Thanks to Cavan and Maggie...
