I have a few. I got them when I had an algae outbreak & added them to the tank on the competition theory, hoping that a more complex form of algae (the balls) would out compete the other non-cummunity algae. The tank cleared overnight. They're easy to reproduce. Wait till about 3" in diamet...

GG: The Feb 04 TFH talks about tankmates for reclusive JD's on page 14. They recommend a school of Tiger barbs, since they will defend themselves... how do barbs do with plants? Isn't there a barb that actually eats algae? Ticto Barbs go to 4", tigers & green tiger barbs at 2.5, scarlets at...
